A path and a practice rooted in the Christian Wisdom tradition.

How are you investing your life’s energy?

It’s the most common challenge we hear: Being overloaded, overscheduled, overwhelmed and overstimulated. We pride ourselves on multitasking, but we curse the hamster wheel, and rightly so. It’s a threat to our quality of life, and our ability to build meaning into it. We long for a life-giving spirituality but often our tanks feel empty.

We’re here to remind you: The call — and the ability — to tap into a greater sense of peace and purpose is within you. Perhaps you want to be more grounded in your parenting or build better relationships. Maybe you want the courage to move from a place of work or to start a ministry to ease a deep sense of suffering you see in the world.

Second Breath courses are rooted in the Christian wisdom tradition in order to teach you how to step off the wheel, experience “fullness of life,” and invest your life’s energy in more meaningful ways.

Wisdom, practices and support for a life lived freely and fully.

Life-changing learning experiences

Second Breath offers on campus and online courses to help you activate the intelligence of your mind, heart and body. From exploring your call in life to harnessing the power of the Enneagram (and many more transformational courses), our programming moves you in the direction of your heart’s longing and uncovers your specific contribution to our collective effort of creating a better world.

Activate the intelligence of the mind, heart and body.

This program is broadening my world view, deepening my spiritual practice and my faith, and changing my life. I am so thrilled that this extraordinary program is available.

Nan Perkins, Retired Elon University Administrator

I am not clear if I found this program or it found me, but either way it has been a profound experience in my life. It has become a faith community for me where I am nourished and fed. The focus on a person’s specific ‘call’ has led me to see my gifts.
