Additional information

There is a transformative process in the gospels where those who were willing to leave the familiar become immersed in the foundational reality Jesus called ‘the kingdom of God.’

This class, grounded in the research of Yale biblical scholar Paul Minear, explores nine practices Jesus taught and practiced with his innermost disciples. Come alive as experiential tools through the gifts of facilitator Curt Shaw, theses practices are invitations for exploring your own behavior and for deepening a conscious awareness of how Spirit operates in the world around us.

Through these practices, we enter into the present moment, or “foundational reality” with greater attention and intention. Here, we can begin anew — to heal, to break long-held patterns, to engage more fully with the life we’re leading, and more lovingly with all of creation.
