Additional information

Diverse forms of labyrinth patterns are found in cultures worldwide. From ancient roots, various labyrinth designs found their way into medieval cathedrals of Europe. Following a time of obscurity, labyrinths reemerged in the late 20th century hand-in-hand with the ancient practice of walking meditation. This contemplative prayer practice helps cultivate the gifts of serenity, creative inspiration, and connection to Spirit.

Please join us on March 16 for an experiential workshop to learn why labyrinths are a perfect container for this unique form of meditative walking. Our time together will allow for periods of walking and quiet reflection.

Vicki Longhofer will be our guide. Since 2001 Vicki has shared the labyrinth with walkers of all ages. She is a certified facilitator with advanced training from the Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress. From personal practice, Vicki sees the labyrinth as a means to foster peace, individually and collectively.
