COVID POLICY
“The true measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members.”
– Mahatma Gandhi
At Second Breath we are filled with gratitude to be able to be back together in community–hallelujah!
As we create spaces where deep connection is possible, we seek to hold with precious care those who are most vulnerable. Here is the way we are navigating our Covid/Sick Policy:
SYMPTOMS
Feeling unwell? Take your class time to rest your body and do not come to class if you are experiencing symptoms such as:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- New cough
- New loss of taste or smell
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Headache
- New muscle or body aches
- Sore throat
- Fatigue
- New GI symptoms
- Eye infection
If you are experiencing symptoms, you are required to have a negative COVID test before coming to class. While experiencing symptoms, you must bring and wear your favorite well-fitting mask in class.
If you do test positive for COVID, follow these CDC guidelines and let your instructor know. We will miss you and will want to check up on you.
VACCINATIONS
Vaccinations and up-to-date boosters are required for all Second Breath staff members. Vaccines and boosters are encouraged for all class participants.
MASK DRESS CODE
We welcome you to wear whatever you wish to class that allows you to feel comfortable. If you feel most comfortable wearing a mask, even without symptoms, please wear one!
If Guilford County is categorized as “high risk” by the CDC, we will likely move to full masking and/or remote options.
EXPOSED?
If you have experienced a COVID exposure, follow the CDC’s exposure protocols.
EXHAUSTED BY COVID?
Us too. This is hard and it has been hard. And, we can continue to walk through this together.
Love,
The Second Breath Team
