Writing From The Heart

This expressive writing workshop will provide you with the opportunity to write about what matters most to you. In a small group setting, we will engage in structured writing exercises and read and discuss writing that deals with matters of the heart and spirit. We will look at ways of generating ideas about your unique experiences and then sharing those ideas in a comfortable environment. Previous experience or comfort with writing not necessary.

Sacred Activism: Being Present to Children in Poverty

For 13 years, a small group of people have been working together to support and be with children living in poverty. We tutor the children Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at Partnership Village, a local transitional housing community. On the last Monday of most months during the school year, we gather to pray and reflect on our work together. Creating a Sacred Space

Working with classic design elements and using all of the senses, you will design your own peaceful, enchanting space to refresh, dream, laugh, grieve, restore, pray, write — whatever nourishes your inner journey of faith and outward journey in life. Participate in nature by creating a garden refuge and the wildlife it brings. From water features to herbs, statuary to symbolic plants, we will work with artistic objects to create spaces that are truly rooted in Spirit and that uniquely help you flourish. No gardening experience necessary.

Practicing Presence Through the Enneagram

This class is for those highly interested in using the wisdom lens of the Enneagram and creating daily spiritual practices to move from living in the false self to living more from our true self. This group will create space and intimacy to dive deeper into what the Enneagram and our Spiritual journey is inviting in us in this season of life. Each session will begin with a practice of presence (i.e. mediation, breath work, etc.) will have a short teaching from the facilitator, and then will be opened to the group for sharing what is arising in them in engaging in the weekly practices and working with the Enneagram.
